Mission

The University of Denver has established the industry-university consortium on building the Quantum Upgraded Electric System of Tomorrow (QUEST).

Quantum computing is a ground-breaking technology in information processing that can support global efforts in addressing power system challenges. Although there are extensive research activities in these applications, quantum computing in its application to electric power grids has remained largely unexamined.

Objective

The consortium aims to enhance industry-university collaborations to solve emerging challenges in building the grid of the future by utilizing quantum information and quantum computation.
The consortium will focus on developing new quantum models, methodologies, and algorithms to solve a range of grid problems faster and more accurately.

Become part of the solution.
